Is today a totally gratuitous excuse to keep up some fractured rhythm of posting every so often? Yes, but that still gives me the chance to link to this picture of free pie being handed out at my alma mater last year. Not that I ever heard about that happening while I was there...

I do wish I'd been able to make this post at 1:59 pm, of course. I suppose there's always Mole Day on October 23...
