I was actually at work on the night shift when space shuttle Endeavour landed in Florida, but perhaps all that meant was that I learned about it a few hours earlier than I might otherwise have but was in worse shape after the shift and a little sleep to actually make up a post about it. In any case, I do feel a bit relieved another space shuttle, hardware placed in space, has made a safe landing (after news that some "focused inspection" was done on the heat shield) and will be sent to a museum (this one on the Pacific coast), even as Atlantis rolls out (the very same night as the landing) for the last mission ever. It may be I'm even starting to contemplate past that one, but I'm also hoping everything goes well even at the last moment.
