It did seem to take a long time to set up (the previous test flight happened not just before the final space shuttle launch, but three space shuttle launches ago), but I was struck by how quickly SpaceX managed to turn its rocket around after halting the countdown at the literal last second. Getting up this morning I was both pleased and relieved to see the Falcon 9 launched again, this time into the night, carrying "important" but not "critical" supplies for the space station. It'll still be another challenge to get the capsule to dock, but something that a lot of people have a lot of high hopes for is now under way.
