Not having written my own viewer program, as I'd pondered "having to do" for a little while, did leave me with a few "I didn't do that much, through sheer simple luck" thoughts. Maybe, though, my "poking away at 1980s computers" hobby leaves me convinced many other people still doing that have learned to program in assembly language and use soldering irons, both of which I have the barest risk-to-myself familiarity with. Anyway, I have GraphicConverter on my own "modern" system; I made some use of it when I started delving into this maze of twisty little passages involving "antique images." I also appreciate knowing I didn't just compose this post to suit myself and say "this journal's been updated again."
