We watched them all and on the whole I enjoyed 'em. The timing is a little off in the earlier episodes, but once they settle into the groove things work fairly well. I don't know that they needed to do the two sword-and-sorcery films back to back, or two Doug McClure films back to back. There's a insistence on structural elements that seem to exist purely because Joel wants them in there whether they're funny or not, and a lot of the host segments lack the tight focus and the improv nature of the old series. I guess I should write my own thing at some point.
I didn't think I was going to like Carnival Magic, but that one, and the Bigfoot film, turned out to be favorites.
