Aware another Falcon 9 rocket was to be launched soon, but sort of losing exact track of just when the launch attempt was to happen, I checked a news site to see news it had indeed succeeded again in getting its communications satellite all the way to geostationary orbit. In acknowledging the success, I did get to wondering about how I'm more inclined to just take it for granted a Delta rocket or something with a comparable history will launch a communications satellite; I suppose the talk of the Falcon 9 rocket eventually having people on top keeps me attentive. Other than that, I do keep seeing comments about how soon enough there'll be attempts to have the first stage brake itself back down to a soft landing; there, though, I still don't quite know how that's supposed to work, and keep waiting to see it in order to believe it.
