MST3K 510: The Painted Hills

Getting closer bit by bit to having rewatched and commented on all of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes, I might even be starting to get to the point where the proportion of "pleasant surprises" picks up. One of the eclectic mix of genres in Joel's half of the fifth season, "The Painted Hills" ("The Painted Hills, the Christo story!") is something of a Western one episode in advance of "Gunslinger's" own unusual take on the subject. However, that part of the movie may be overshadowed by, as Dr. Forrester informs our heroes, "It's got Lassie--yes, the dog--staring as Shep, another dog." Even before that, though, we get the short "Body Care and Grooming." ("Body Care. And Grooming. They're cops!")
