MST3K 211: First Spaceship on Venus

I've got around at last to opening up the can my copy of the "Mystery Science Theater 3000 20th Anniversary Collection" comes in. (As far as the twentieth anniversary itself goes, there are some reflections on the appeal of the show on Satellite News that I agree with so far.) A good part of the can's bulk seems to go towards securely packing the small statuette of Crow T. Robot included with this first deluxe release of the collection, but once the self-contained package of DVDs (soon to be sold by itself by Shout! Factory) is extracted the can doesn't seem that weighty any more... In any case, I do have to admit that right from the start I was most interested in the discs themselves, and I started into them with "First Spaceship on Venus."
