The more I think about it, the more that I realize Abrams can't go nuts on this even if he wanted to. Somebody's writing the script. The story is Lucas's basically. Lucas is still very much alive. And regarding the prequels, well, you've got Clone Wars now as added insurance against retro tampering.
I'm still more or less disbelieving this is all happening. It's kind of like when you think somebody's dead and then he comes knocking on your door.
