Long comments are just fine for me; they do suggest involvement. Anyway, that's a good suggestion of the eight and ninth season's strong points. "The plot arc was handled well" is also something I can see myself agreeing with, even if I'm aware some fans seem to have had strong reactions to Pearl Forrester and the "host villains" that followed. (I suppose "visceral reactions to fictional characters" are almost something I deliberately try to hold back in myself...)
