While I was already thinking ahead to "Invasion of the Neptune Men" and reflecting on certain lively elements of "Prince of Space" not present in its presentation, I'm at least hoping I haven't already made up my mind to be negative. (I was looking back at what I'd written and wondering if, in being too clever, it gave the impression I hadn't seen the episode yet, but then I got to wondering if it was just my interpretation of your interpretation...)
Your comment about the "foreign films" in general did get my attention; for all I know, though, I found odd reassurance in it. I admit I was a little leery to get around to "The Final Sacrifice," wondering if I'd be too thin-skinned for it, but there in some odd way some of the little details mixed in with the "cheap shots" gave me the impression the "Midwest thing" gave a bit more awareness of Canada than a "typical Hollywood production..."
